The Way We Work With You

Investment Planning

Service and personal attention are the hallmark of our business.  We believe it is the defining quality that sets us apart from our competition.

The personal relationships that we develop with each of our clients starts with an initial meeting during which we will examine your entire financial situation in order to clarify your goals and investment objectives.  We will review your various options (not simply your investments) and design a plan to help you meet your specific needs and goals.

This strategy is developed using a methodology that is an organized and disciplined process of achieving control over your ongoing financial needs, which in turn will help you to build your financial future.  Next, we will recommend solutions and a plan of action.  Once the plan is in place, it needs to be reviewed and updated to address changing life circumstances.  This is accomplished by comparing the current value of your assets against the lowest amount needed to fund your goals with reasonable confidence.

Not everyone needs to have a written comprehensive investment plan.  We believe everyone, however can benefit from the investment planning process.

Investment Management

Our investment strategy is first, to use risk management strategies to help preserve your principal, second to buy quality investments and third to diversify effectively through strategic asset allocation.1  We believe it is also important to recognize and take into account the status of the investment markets based not only on fundamental factors, but technical factors determined by supply and demand for different investments in the marketplace.

There is not one particular investment portfolio that is appropriate for all individual investors.  The optimal portfolio will depend on the amount and timing of cash flow needs, tax considerations and market conditions.  Investment decisions should be based; therefore, on each client’s objectives.

Through this objective driven process, crucial factors such as appropriate levels of risk and return are determined and optimized to help you achieve your goals.  Investing is only one component of investment planning, though certainly an important one.  We believe that an investment strategy and strategic asset allocation can be designed only after the initial investment planning process is complete and a target return is established.

1Asset allocation and diversification cannot eliminate the risk of fluctuating prices and uncertain returns.
